Donald Trump wants to be President. He is the presumptive nominee for the republican party. People hear his every word. They also remember every word. Trump does not know or has forgotten this. His mouth has become ongoing advertisement for the opposite party.
There are some legal issues Trump has to address from his private life. Because he is Trump and running for President, it does not mean he can escape the law. Nixon and Bill Clinton can attest to this.
Judge Gonzalo P. Curiel is presiding over law suits against Trump. The words Trump used to talk about the Judge fit the definition of racism. See the first two links and most definitely the last link. When the words came back and bit him on his ass. Trump came unglued and said people misconstrued his words. Then he said people need to get over their self. Trump should forget himself so he can serve the people of this country and not himself.
