At this time 58 people are dead and at least 515 are reported injured at one hospital after a mass shooting on the Las Vegas strip with a high powered rapid fire gun. 12 are in critical condition at this time. This is ongoing, the total of dead and injured may change. See the last two links for this current up date.
It started at an open air concert. The shooter was at a higher level that the people at the concert. He was on the 32'nd floor of the Mandalay hotel. Watching news feeds, the sound of continuous gun fire at intervals reminded me of play backs of film from embedded reporters at war zones. It is felt that it was a single shooter. Police are interested in talking to Marilou Danley, who is not a suspect but a companion of the shooter. (64 year old shooter identified. Companion found)
The person who did this is a coward. I use the Urban Dictionary for this. It gives the perfect definition. The shooter may have blustered he was a man. He just had no ideea what being a man was all about.
It is known that the shooter is down. An investigation has started. Pray for the victims, their families, and their friends. If you do not pray, please keep all in your positive thoughts.
