A recreational diving boat was anchored off the California Coast at Santa Cruz island. The boat was anchored in Platts harbor. It is not known how but a fire started. There were people that were sleeping below deck at the time of the fire. 34 people are dead. There were 5 crew members that escaped. Two of the members had injuries. Please keep the victims, families and friends in your prayers. If you do not pray, please keep them in your positive thoughts. If you want to do more, contact the Salvation Army or the Red Cross in that area to see how to help. If you give money to any organization be sure to write on check or money order--For victims of diving boat fire. You can also go through your Faith organization to see how they are helping and ask to join in.
