Rape culture in India strikes again with cold and callus cruelty

An atrocity was committed against an 8 year old female in January of this year. The details were not released till this month.  She was a member of a nomadic  Muslim community known as the Barkarwals. Her body was found in an isolated forest. Her name was Asfia Bano.  See the BBC link below. It shows a smiling face on a child's tiny body. Imagine the pain she endured till she was strangled.

It seems that a gang of rogue feral street dogs aka (curs) abducted her while she was grazing horses. She was taken to a Hindu temple drugged and held hostage for at least 5 days.  During this time, several men took turns raping her on a daily basis. She was eventually strangled and dumped like a piece of garbage in what they thought was a hidden area.

There have been 8 men arrested in this atrocity.  Among the arrested, there is an a retired government official and several police officers. The government official planned this action against a child.  Another sickening action occurred when the police tried to file charges.  Members of the state bar association tried to physically stop the police from filing charges. They did this because they believe the case is being tied to the Hindu religion. They also feel that the government is too soft on the Muslims.

There is evidence that it was done to scare the Muslim tribe into fleeing the area. This is not a matter of faith practice. It is a matter of demons in human form inflicting unspeakable pain and fear on a 8 year old child. They knew what they did was wrong. The child was drugged to keep her quiet during a 5 day brutal rape. They killed her and hid her body after washing the blood and semen out of her clothes. These evil and barbaric actions were thought out and planned.

These actions show a problem in this rape culture. Men feel they can act out against females and get away with it. A very large percentage of the articles on the internet show they get away with it in the long run. If India wants to take their place righteously among lead nations, this is problem they need to terminate.
