Former Doctor at Bronx-Lebanon hospital in New York City opens fire

A former Doctor at Bronx-Lebanon hospital in New York City opened fire in the hospital. There is some questions about him  as a Doctor.  He killed one woman Doctor and wounded 5 others before killing himself. One source says 1 people killed and 6 wounded. This may change since some of the wounded are in critical condition.  He used a M16 assault rifle.  No ties to terrorism are noted at this time. It is still to early in the investigation about the shooter to have concrete information about him. This incident is ongoing.

President Trump remember the dignity and ethics required of your office (update added)

President Donald Trump or #45 floored everyone this morning with tweets that were beneath the dignity of the Presidential office, this one slipped my attention.  He is trying at all costs to cover a campaign promise that he does not realize one thing. He needs the help of all Republicans and Democrats.  From what I've read and seen on TV, he plays one against the other and tries to slip under the radar at that moment with what he wants done. Bad Boy business politics may have worked sometimes for him in his civilian life.

It has consequences in his role as head of a free country. The first is loss of faith and belief in the office of the President by its citizens and leaders of other countries.  Second, the lower economic class is always the first to feel the heavy hand of injustice.. Those in the middle economic class should not breath a sigh of relief.  When the lower economic class is broken, guess who is next?

"Mother Mushroom" jailed in Vietnam

In Vietnam, Ngoc Nhu Quynh who goes by the handle of Mother Mushroom in her blog has received a 10 year jail sentence.  She spoke out and wrote about injustice in her country. It is a serious crime to tell the truth about government in Vietnam.  They don't utilize silly grade school pedantic actions and scream at  you on social media while calling you names. They call it a crime against the state and put you in prison after a one day trial.  If you survive, you emerge as a broken person.  Threats against family and actual harm done against them are common.

She lived her life under a sound principle. "If not you, who?" It is a hard one that evil and nasty people take offense to. She knew that she would pay a high price for living and acting with this belief.

My reason that I started to blog was simple.  I saw the cost of nations doing nothing in allowing Daesh / Daw'aish to destroy the Yazidi.  Particularly was the face of a young boy looking into a camera and crying.  He was in a dump truck being taken to a execution site by Daesh / Daw'aish.  See the last link for other pictures.  My principle is sound but crude in wording.  If you see and know of a wrong, stand up and speak out about it. Not doing this means that you are nothing but a pile of s***. Because s***  can't stand.

Pray for this woman, her family, and her friends. They are in for hell for 10 years. Vietnam wrote the book on this.  If you can, write the Vietnam government and ask for compassion in her case. Also write to amnesty international to help her.

A thought about President Trump's or #45 lack of Presidential decorum

I listened to the news this morning and again was amazed that President Trump felt attacked. He is the leader for the USA.  Our country is a democracy not a dictatorship. That gives people the right to call into question his words, actions, or his personal associations while in office. To attack people on a social media site for voicing their opinions is beneath the dignity of the office of the President.  His twitter rants  read like a prelude to a street fight.  It is no shame to need help. It is a shame to need help and not get it.

I just had someone explain to me why President # 45 uses the term "Fake News". It was confusing to me.  If a news agency did that, the people are fired with mega apologies from the news agency to keep the lawyers away.  Evidently, it is an old ploy used by members of "The Good Old Boy" club.  If asked an uncomfortable question that will make the truth known, call that person and agency "Liars who spread fake news." People close their ears when they hear the phrase of fake news. They forget what was being said before.  There is no doubt that there are bad people in news as well as politics. Each has the tendency to take care of the problem to keep legal problems off the radar. To use this phrase so consistently like President #45 makes one want to look closer at what he is doing that he wants no one to see.

On twitter this morning, President #45 was a bully.   Please read the links below.  He called two hosts on "Morning Joe" names beneath the dignity of the office of President. He referred to Mika Brzezinski as bleeding from her face from a "bad face lift" when she came to Mar-a-Lago in Florida. See the last link for a picture that disputes that. There is no blood, dressings, or swelling that is present with a face lift.  President #45 talked about her as a woman and a professional.  He attacked Joe Scarborough as well.  Is he jealous of women?  Does he hate men comfortable enough with their masculinity to share their job with a strong woman without being threatened?

The lowest thing he did that showed lack of moral character in my opinion, was when he referred to her as low IQ.  I know people with low IQ's. They have more compassion than what he could ever understand or display.  They work hard and give of themselves unconditionally.  Perhaps President #45 should ask his Dr. to order an M.R.I.  He should ask the Dr. to check the area of the brain called the right supramarginal gyrus.  See the fourth link.

The strong women around President # 45 give the impression that he reacts like this when he feels threatened or verbally attacked.. That is fine if you are not the leader of a country.  These actions are what I expect from an undisciplined child that has never been told no.   In his position as a leader of the USA, why is he ranting, raging, and name calling over displays of Democracy.  In this country, the people have a right to question actions and thoughts of our leaders.  President Trump putting his thoughts on Twitter invites questions and candid comments.  If  this makes him feel that he is being attacked, what cookie jar was his hand caught in?

A tragedy in Pakistan

A truck carrying fuel oil slid off the road in Bahawalpur district in Punjab.  It may have blown a tire. People from nearby villages came to collect the oil in pots.  Some called friends and families to come and collect  fuel oil from the overturned truck. The police tried to keep people away without success. Somebody lit a cigarette and  the area with people were engulfed in flames.  The total dead is given around 153.  This may rise.  One hospital that is treating 40 of the injured tells they all have burns of 70 per cent of their bodies. 51 with very serious burns have been transported to a larger hospital in Multan by Army helicopter due to their critical condition.  Some of the dead were burned down to their skeleton and identification may be possible only through DNA.

Pakistan is pulling together during this tragedy. Pray for the dead, the injured, their families, and friends.  If you do not pray, please keep them in your positive thoughts.

The silent war in Yemen is killing an untold number of children

The civil war in Yemen has approached it's third year. Disease and lack of food are claiming more lives. This war is between Houthi militants and a Saudi Arabian led force that supports the former Hadi government. This is a war conducted by silence. The media is not allowed in.  See the second link for faces that prove silence kills.  No one can see the ongoing atrocities of what is being done.

Fortunately Saudi Arabia has had a change in leadership. Money is now being donated to fight the cholera epidemic. Severe malnutrition is killing just as fast as the cholera. As always the weaker and innocent children are the ones who suffer in a war.

I saw a movie when I was much younger. When countries went to war, only the leaders were involved. They were put in an enclosed area to fight it out. The winning country in the war was the last man standing. The point was that if the leaders felt the pain of war, they would try harder to work out the problems in the first place.

Pray for the victims of this war. If you do not pray, keep them in your positive thoughts. Lets us all pray or think positive thoughts about the hand of Allah / God touching the hearts and minds of leaders to stop useless killing of Allah's / Gods greatest handiwork, mankind.
