There 23 dead and 40 injured in a train derailment in India. This count is ongoing since rescue workers are still combing through the wreckage and it is dark now. This was an express train from Puri to Hardiwar. Eight of the trains cars derailed and toppled over each other. It is too early to speculate on cause. It is thought the train engineer slammed on breaks because maintenance workers were on track that had not signaled they were there.
Please pray for the dead,injured,their families and friends. If you do not pray, please keep them in your positive thoughts.
