There are massive wildfires in California. See the second link to a video that shows these areas involved. The Governor has declared a state of emergency. Unfortunately there was an arsonist involved in causing some of the fires. He has been captured and is in jail. It has been reported that mechanical failure of a vehicle in the Whiskeytown National Recreational area is also responsible for a fire.
There has already been death. The number injured is changing daily. Pray for the victims, their family, and friends. If you do not pray, please keep them in your positive thoughts.
If you are inclined to do more, there is something you can do. California has numerous Red Cross offices. On a check or money order write down the money is for the victims of the California fires only. Contact large churches there to see if they have a need that you can help with. Check with your church where you live to see if they are doing something that you can help with. There is always a need that you can help with.
