Thirteen people have been killed in a nightclub (Borderline Bar and Grill) on college night. This nightclub is located in Thousand Oaks, California. Eighteen have been injured. A deputy with 29 years service who was going to retire soon has been killed.
Conflict resolution needs to be taught at three different levels in our schools. In elementary, middle school, and in high school is where it should be taught. With all these additional shootings, it needs to be taught at another level. It has to start somewhere. It should be taught at jobs for adults. Pick a date and start.
Pray for the victims, families, and friends. If you do not pray, keep them in your positive thoughts. For those who want to do more, contact your church and see if something is being organized to help. Contact churches in Thousand Oaks to see if they are doing something you can help with.
