7/3/2015 - Updated Human rights for all

I do not believe in the use of the word religion. Some of the worst atrocities know to mankind has been done by mankind in the name of religion.  Therefore, religion equates to cult in my mind.

My  preference and that of others is faith practice. People who have and follow their faith practice don't abuse their fellow human beings. Lonewalker found the following on his Facebook page from the Christian Left. Sums up how we both feel:

Don't like gay marriage? Don't get one.

Don't like abortions? Don't get one.

Don't like drugs? Don't do them.

Don't like sex? Don't have it.

Don't like your rights taken away? Don't take away anyone else's.

People have cherry picked from the Bible for ages in order to prove they are right in their narrow minded and biased view. They scream loudly that they believe in the New Testament. But, they will beat their fellow man over the head with the Old Testament while screaming they are sinners and going to hell. They have forgotten one thing by accident  or by accident on purpose.

God's son died for our sins. Whole blood lines are no longer wiped out for the sins of one. person. The New Testament covers what is important after Jesus died. People need to read it and incorporate it into their faith practice instead of the Old Testament..

The Book of Matthew of the King James Bible in chapter 7:1-12 states how I think and feel. This concludes my soapbox stand and  / or preaching.

Matthew 7:1-12 King James Version (KJV)

Judge not, that ye be not judged

For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?

10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?

11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
