Twelve of the busiest airports in this country were tested by people trained to slip items by T.S.A. agents like what the terrorists do. The tested T.S.A. agents in these airports failed 67 out of 70 tests. Fake bombs and fake guns were slipped by with ease.That is a failure rate of 95%.
The acting head of the T.S.A. was reassigned due to this. Three changes are slowly coming into practice also. Revision to the screening practices are being worked on. New training is being considered. Equipment is being looked at to see if it works properly. How about just simply saying, "Do your damn job!"
People have been inconvenienced by T.S.A. agents. Their prying hands have been through personal items. They have taken liquid containing items without a thought. Lets not even talk about pocket change. Bodies have been touched all over. Special x-rays have been taken that shows the body without clothes. Children even have to submit.
Now, this shows it was all a joke played on the airplane passengers. If not a joke then it was extreme disrespect. People put up with all the T.S.A. asked because it was supposed to make flying safe. This failure shows that being safe in the hands of the T.S.A. is a "crap shoot."
