A disaster in the making is no joke. Hurricane Matthew is set to drop several feet plus of rain on Haiti, Jamaica, Cuba, and the Bahama's. It will be bad. Listen to what the authorities tell you to do and follow their instruction's. Follow your disaster preparedness plan. If you do have one, I have included two links for people and one for pets.
I have been in natural disasters. Using a permanent black marker, I wrote my name and social security number on my inner arm. The same was done for my son. Below our name and s.s. number, I wrote a contact number for someone not in the path of the disaster. When dried, I covered the marks with liquid bandage. I let this dry carefully. If the worst case scenario happened, someone would know who we were. If separated, we could be reunited. (The liquid bandage kept the identification from washing off.)
Pray for people in its path. If you do not pray, keep the people in its path in your positive thoughts.
I watched news feeds and read information from the following links.
