Chicago, Illinois is known to have its share of problems. In 2016, 746 murders were committed. Now something truly sick has happened. A live Face Book video of beatings,torture, and racial taunting was posted. Two men and two women did the evil deed. The person being beaten and tortured was an 18 year old mentally disabled young man from an outside suburb. It is under question if he was also kidnapped. A second video shows his head being forced into a toilet to drink.
It is unclear how the young man got free. The police picked him up for questioning because he appeared distressed and was wearing shorts in cold weather.. At the hospital they were able to get the story with gentle questionings and reconnect him with his family.
These four people were caught by their act of "The stupids." They sent text messages claiming to be holding their son captive. Prison is the best place for them and the safest for the community.
A person living under the supervision of his parents was beaten and tortured. This was done by 18 year old's who had no fear of the law. For the sake of future children, something has to change in Chicago.
