After 1 am on Sunday, a gunman arrived at the Reina nightclub located in the Ortakay district on the eastern shore of the Bosporus strait. A large celebration was going on to bring in the new year. He had arrived in a cab and got out dressed as Santa. In the nightclub he rained down terror with a long gun. 39 people were killed and 69 have been injured. The death toll may rise due to the serious injuries of at least four.
No one has laid claim to this terror attack. Please pray for the family's and friends of the dead victims and the injured. If you do not pray, please keep everyone in your positive thoughts.
