13 Russians nationals indicted over 2016 election interference

For interfering with the 2016 Presidential elections, 13 Russians have been charged at this time. 3 of the 13 have been accused of conspiracy to commit wire fraud.  5 have been accused of aggravated identity theft. Three Russian companies have also been named in the indictment. The 37 page indictment shows that Russia wanted to sow discord in the US and undermine public confidence in Democracy.  They named their effort "Project Lakhta." It had an operating budget of more than $1,000,000,000 per month. This shows the seriousness of their attempt to show discord.

An Internet Research Agency, LLC was in charge of this attempt to sow discord. Yevgeny  Progoshin controls this  agency which is a "troll farm." He is wealthy and a close friend of Russian President
Vladimir Putin.

Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein  stated that there was no allegation any American was involved. It has not been alleged that meddling altered the election outcome.  Even though collusion has not been suggested, the meddling effort may have benefited from "unwitting individuals associated with the Republican  nominee.

President Trump is not out of the woods yet.  If the allegations hold up in court, It will be difficult for for President Trump in one aspect. He can no longer claim and howl like an upset puppy that all the meddling allegation are an unsubstantiated hoax or witch hunt.  President Trump has been in the lead in attacking the investigations credibility. My question is simple. The wording in the links is very careful which is something I expect from the FBI. The vitriol from President Trump has caused me from the beginning to wonder what he doesn't want investigated.

See the Forbes link below. It has a link to go to another site. There is a list of the entire indictment with a explanation of the charges.  See the CNBC link also. It explains the Russian involvement better.
