Shootings occurred at two Mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand. One shooter is under arrest and a search is underway for 2 or more. 6 were murdered at the Mosque on Deans Avenue in Christchurch. A second shooting occurred at Linwood Masjid Mosque. The total of dead and injured is unknown as this situation is still evolving.
UPDATE: 49 killed and 20 seriously injured. 3 men and 1 woman in custody. Two IED's found in one of the attackers vehicle.
A shooter supposedly posted a video of what he did online. There is parts to his sick reasons in a manifesto on the link to IB times. All members of the Pakistani cricket team made out of the Mosque safely. About 1% of the population in New Zealand is Muslim. All are encouraged to stay indoors for their safety at present.
The New Zealand Prime Minister stated that this is a dark day for New Zealand. The victims. their families and friends need your prayer. If you do not pray, please keep them in your positive thoughts. This goes for all of New Zealand. If you want to do more, the last link is to the New Zealand embassy.
