I was doing research with friends on the topic of why rape is an accepted fact of what happens when you go to jail or prison. Jailers know this happens. Law enforcement knows that this happens. Being an old emergency room nurse, I can not tell you how many times that I have heard cops describe to prisoners what happens in the cells. The only kind thing that I heard was one telling the prisoner not to worry. I'll get you medical care when it happens.
Most of the time, I asked them if they were scaring the prisoner or were they for real? I stopped asking because the answer was always yes they were for real.. When I asked them about the ones found to be innocent, I stopped asking questions. The part about wanting to know what kind of car I drove ensured that. It was one of many situations that causes me to be wary of cops.
The first link below was one of many that came up on the internet. The angry look on the faces of these men stopped all of us. We discussed what we saw. They were the ones who did the robbery and rapes. I guess they were never told that it does not matter who or what the woman is. No means no. To continue and force the woman to submit to sex is rape. Rape is a crime that has a consequence.
Jail or prison will be the end consequence. They will become part of the original topic of research. The sex that these men want so badly, they will not get. The sex that these heterosexual men get will not be the sex they want.
