Doping scandal in Russia

The Olympics have one strong purpose. It is to promote unity through sports. The differences between nations in the Olympics were to be set aside. Sports events were meant to be a field where nations competed fairly and equally

Problems can and will develop in all things that man has a hand in.  Rules regarding medications were not followed. This  was hidden in an organised manner.  Somebody forgot that nothing stays buried forever.  Russia will not be the only one  trying to explain them self.

Those responsible for investigations need to finish their job.  Leaks of  information  needs to be stopped. Those guilty need to accept corrective measures and change their actions.  Those who should have been caught but were not need to change their actions. Everyone needs to focus back on the Olympics original purpose.
