My thoughts on those who put innocent lives in danger by refusing vaccinations and mask wearing

 I have been sick for a good while. During this time,  I have been listening to T.V. news and scrolling through various news feeds. There are people fighting over wearing a mask or getting a vaccination to prevent getting and spreading a deadly respiratory infection.

These people are screaming about their liberty and freedoms being infringed upon. Watching their antics on T.V., I can only think the following. It is like someone grabbed their ear lobes and pulled down on them to flush all their common sense away.

Nobody has touched their liberty or freedom. BUT,they can not harm other people or cause them harm by their actions. A library has free information. To remain so educationally  deficit and lacking in common sense means they chose blind ignorance.

Education on what a layperson should not inject into their bodies may be necessary

A man with chronic back pain decided to treat himself. Through the Internet, he had ordered a syringe. He started injecting himself  with his own semen.

He finally showed up at a Dr.'s office when he hurt his back again lifting a heavy object. The Dr. saw that he had severe redness and inflammation on one arm and admitted him to the hospital. He had cellulitis and an abscess for which he received approved intravenous antibiotics. Though the articles do not say if he received patient education, I hope he did. The Dr. researched what he did. She could find no evidence of this ever being done before in a human.

It is hard to believe but some members of congress think that people who lead bad lives have pre-existing conditions. Therefore they should pay more for insurance. That is why the new version of Trump care has a very sneaky way of reinforcing this. All people will be covered, but.  If you have a pre-existing condition, the insurance company can charge you more. This pre-existing condition could be pregnancy or being born with asthma. Children born with heart conditions would be under this classification.

I was born with a malformed duct in my pancreas. Until this was discovered, I had the problems of chronic pancreatitis. I do not or have ever drank. Alcohol is gross and foul to me in all forms. It was no surprise that I developed diabetes with pancreatitis. I can't afford an insulin pump.  So I take high doses of insulin by shots. These Republicans believe I led a bad life to get pancreatitis  so soon after birth. The logic eludes me.

The lack of knowledge in the above tweet is astounding. Iphones can paid on a monthly basis. My son does his. This solves problems that the above Republican seems clueless of. Iphones are connected to the internet. There is no deposit to the cable company and a monthly bill. Children have access to the internet for their homework.  I have a friend who uses this for her kids who need access for homework. There is also no expensive bill for a landline phone. The deposit is high and the bill is not cheap.

Perhaps if Republicans connected with their constituents and remembered they are not autonomous, they would not be thought of as enemies of poor Americans. Life happens and sometimes not in a good way. I have been working since the fourth grade. What I have, I paid for.  At one time I owned land and could get a loan on signature status.

Life happens. My son was born ill and I sold everything to pay our way. It was not enough. Eventually I had to get help. I won't  hang my head over this.  No American should have to hang their head.  Our Government needs to stop. The actions of Hitler's "Life unworthy of Life" was not good then. It is still an atrocity.

Mass shooting at Cincinnati night club

Shortly after 1:00 a.m. in Cincinnati, Ohio, one person was shot dead and fourteen injured in the Cameo nightclub. No evidence that  terrorism is  linked to this. The victims have been sent to four local hospitals. Several victims have life threatening injuries and are undergoing surgery at this time. Hundreds of people were in the nightclub at the time of the shooting.  Police are talking to the witnesses that did not flee.

Pray for the victims, families, and friends of these victims. The days ahead will be hard. If you can not pray please keep them in your positive thoughts.

Killing of white rhino. in zoo

Animal poachers broke into a French zoo. A male 4 year old white rhino was killed. One horn was sawed off. The authorities figure out that the poachers were disturbed before they could get the second horn removed.

I watched a special on conservation of animals with horns. It is tough sometimes on animals. Occasionally an animal will die. That is better than having whole species die off.

The method is simple. With a vet. present and in charge, put the animal to sleep. While asleep, cut the horn off.  Do this every two to three years as necessary. The species will survive.

Double or triple all criminal penalties. No time off sentence. Killing of any endangered species deserves a heavy penalty.

Threats against Jewish Community Centers

It takes a special kind of "thing" to level bomb threats against Jewish Community Centers. Cowards level bomb threats. The Urban Dictionary gives a perfect definition for these things in their third definition. It infers that these men have the genitals of being a male human but no clue as to what being a male is all about.

The centers are the heart of the community. They frequently house Day Care Centers and after hours school programs. Programs for the elderly are frequently there also. There is a special place in hell for those that threaten children and the elderly. The demons await them.

Anti-Trump protests

Anti-Trump protests are being held.  People are getting hurt and arrested. It brings to mind an old saying "A day late and a dollar short." See the last link.

We needed something different in the White House. It was time to shake up the "good old boy" system. President Trump squealed the loudest. He would change what he promised from campaign stop to the next. That should have been the first clue that maybe he was not right.

Now that he is President, people want to protest. There only two avenues open. The first is to do as the Bible commands. Pray that God touches his heart. Pray for the man to get right with God. As I explained to several people, God does not answer prayers  to send him a stroke or heart attack. If you don't pray send positive thoughts his way. Prayers and positive thoughts can move mountains.

There is another option that has used in the past. Get several good lawyers involved in looking for reasons to impeach. Assist them as needed.  It is not easy but it has been done.

Think carefully about your vote. We have four years not to do this again. Remember never make the final decision till the day you are going to vote. When the candidate thinks they have your vote is when their true color shows.

Wasted taxpayer dollars on VA art

Today, I learned while researching something that I saw on the news.  I am talking about the dangers of poor fiscal management resulting from faulty decision making. The Veterans Administration is supposed to provide health care to our veterans.  They have a problem in this area.

In the area that provides service to our locale, they fail. A local TV station has done a series on the number of suicides from lack of available mental health care. If a veteran can not get timely care then it is the same as no care. This series helped start a nation wide look at this problem.

The Veterans have it right on part of one aspect.  Healing is more than medical help from health care providers.  The environment is important as well as its surroundings. This is where the VA drowned its self.

A Congressional committee wants to know why a Denver area VA hospital is 1.7 billion dollars into cost overrun. The VA investigated itself and reported back with a summary. They refused to give Congress the supporting documents. They are still refusing. My thought on this is simple. If a sitting President could not escape investigation and impeachment, why is the VA being treated different?

The further I researched the more disgusted I became.  The Va has their priorities wrong.  They have spent over 20 million on art work. I would be embarrassed also and want to hide my actions. If you will not turn over paperwork for some one to see what you have done, then you are hiding something. You can twist your behind, twist your head, or twist your tongue but it will not change the truth.

What is wrong with occupational therapy that teaches a skill? Paint your buildings in soothing greens and blues. Give classes to veterans. Have teachers supervise them doing it for 6 months. It will be upkeep for the buildings. Issue a job reference at the end of six months painting.

Art work is not what was done at the Palo Alto facility. The VA paid $483,000 for an extremely ugly big rock. That insult was not bad enough. Someone at the VA paid $807,000 to get the ground ready to place the rock.

Remember that art work projects do not have to be done in one day. Tell the the veterans in every art class what you are looking for.  Give a dead line and have every veteran in the art classes submit their ideas. Choose the best and put together teams. Projects can be done in segments and joined at sites. Give the veterans ownership by involving them. After all, it's about the veterans not about some big wig wanna' be looking to have the best office.

The somebody who approves art work projects needs to seriously get a grip. The art work placed on the side of a garage did not honor the blind. Quotes from famous people in Braille was part of a good idea that was not completely thought out. The blind can't see them or much less touch them. I do not know of any sighted person who can read braille. Honor the blind by putting something on ground level that they can touch, since few have the skills of a mountain goat.

Do what I have taught my son. If You screw up, be a human and admit it. Evaluate your actions and change. If you truly can't see it, ask for help in figuring out where you went wrong. Then close your mouth and open your mind.

The uproar is about serious waste of taxpayer dollars. Veterans did not receive care, had to wait, or got lost while waiting for care. One instance that keeps playing over and over in my mind is the amount paid for an extremely ugly rock ($483,000). The icing was $807,000 paid to get the ground ready for the ugly rock.  How many veterans could have gotten care if that money was spent on veterans?
