A seven year old went to school on a normal day. The parents did not have a clue about the person in charge of his class. His mother was summoned to the school. She found him in an ambulance crying with a swollen and bloody head.
The x-rays revealed a fractured jaw and two missing teeth. An excuse was given by the man in charge of the class. The best that I can get from reading the links is that he was carrying the child to the office for discipline. He tripped and the slight seven year old threw himself against the wall causing injuries.
I don't buy it an neither did the police. He has been charged with First and Second degree child abuse and assault. Also, he has been charged with reckless endangerment and neglect of a minor.
All who teach children need additional education yearly. Topics to include how to handle difficult children and anger management for the adult. All adults need a psychiatric evaluation to determine fitness to work with children and every five years thereafter.
