A sad but serious incident occurred at a high school in Reno, Nevada. Two male students were fighting outside the library. For what ever reason, one student pulled a knife. Video's taken by students present show the student running and slashing at other students with a long knife in each hand. The student refused to obey the commands of the school police officer. Unfortunately, the police officer had no choice but to shoot the student in order to protect other students. Conflict resolution should be taught in every school at a age appropriate level. More supervision is needed in every school.
