Hawaii experiences severe volcanic disaster

Kilauea is one of the five  volcano's that make up the island of Hawaii.  One day after the volcano erupted, a 6.9 earthquake struck. The epicenter was from under the volcano. Multiple quakes have been occurring daily. Residents have been ordered to evacuate from two major housing subdivisions. Six vents spewing lava and toxic gases have been identified. The gas is incompatible to life.

There are shelters open for residents. It is too soon to know beyond the basic of food and a place to sleep. Check with groups you donate to for information on where you can give if so inclined.

Please keep Hawaii in your prayers or positive thoughts
