My opinion regarding continued school shootings

The loss of lives in continued school shootings breaks my heart.  As a mother, I do not know if I would retain my sanity. Grief hangs heavy over this for everyone. Its like the heart becomes chained.  I can hear the tears of the parents dropping one at a time into the hollow cavern where their hearts used to beat unchained.

It is time for those responsible to make a change in gun controll law or get off the pot. If any took money from the NRA, they should not be allowed to vote on any issue regarding guns.  For the rest, see the following verses taken from James chapter two. Pay attention to verse 17.

It is time for bad and poor decision making skills to exit the scene. Giving your prayers and hopes to victims is fine. That is faith. Not changing some basic laws to prevent from happening again is bad. It gives the appearance that you practice faith without works. That means your faith is dead.

It is not complicated. Do something instead of ignoring the situation.  Ignoring the issue will not work. The people who you ignore will remember you at election time.

14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?

15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,

16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?

17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
