A 10 year old girl in India is pregnant from repeated rape by her stepfather. She is from Rohtak in Northern India. Her mother suspected that she might be pregnant. She was seen by a Dr. who confirmed the pregnancy. The mother had courage and reported the rapes and pregnancy to the police. He has been picked up and detained.
Because she is 20 weeks pregnant, an abortion is a problem. To prevent Indian women from aborting females, a law was enacted. At 20 weeks, a court has to approve the abortion. Her family awaits the decision.
The girl was warned against telling her mother or anyone. Indian women need to teach their children a different version of the bathing suit game that is taught here in the US. For boys it is easy, Have them put on a pair of shorts. Explain that if anybody touches their penis, testicles, or behind come tell Mama. Explain to the girls that if anyone puts their hands between their legs, tries to insert their penis or finger into their vagina or bottom come tell mama.
Explain that some secrets should not be kept from mama or daddy. Any one who touches,plays with, or tries to have sex with them, do not keep this a secret. If they offer you candy or try to get you to go somewhere with them, run to mama or daddy. Older teens or adults do not get children to keep secrets from parents. Doing this means they have bad intentions.
The child in question is 10 years old. Her primary concerns should be school work and playing. Helping her mother at home should be her biggest concern. A 10 year old can not give consent to sex. She lacks the mental development to understand what all is involved. She has no life experience to draw from. It takes a demented brute who came from sexual congress of diseased barnyard animals to rape a 10 year old child. I hope India's legal system makes him pay for his crimes.
